Cranston Windmill Update:
Due to the sinkhole that opened in Cranston last week, the City of Calgary has not yet turned on the water at the windmill for the season and we have been told this may take a few weeks.
Furthermore, the Residents Association had maintenance work scheduled, including re-painting the windmill, which the City has requested we hold off on until final inspections of the park area are completed. We will provide further updates when we have more information on when we can start this work.
As a reminder, the Residents Association owns the windmill structure itself, but the park around the windmill is owned by the City.
