Rental Rates & Contact Information

Our hourly rental rates are broken down by room and capacity. Please refer to the table on the right for details, including dimensions and capacities for each room type.

Additional Charges:

  • Mandatory after-hours security fee applies for rentals ending between 9:00pm and 1:00am.

  • Mandatory after-hours teardown fee applies for rentals ending between 8:30pm and 1:00am.

  • SOCAN and Re:Sound fees apply for bookings with music and/or dancing.

  • A $300.00 damage deposit on credit card is required for all bookings serving alcohol and/or requiring after hours.

Rental Policies & Procedures

Booking Requirements
  1. Signature on Rental Contract

  2. Full Payment – due upon receipt of the Rental Contract

  3. $300.00 Damage & Liability Deposit on credit card (Refund issued 3-5 business days post-event, pending review)

  4. Proof of Personal Liability Insurance – include Provider’s Name, Policy Number, Expiry Date

  • Note: Failure to provide these within one week from the booking date will result in cancellation.

  • Additional for Alcohol Rentals:

    • Party Alcohol Liability Insurance (via palcanada.com or duuo.ca) – due 10 days prior

    • Liquor Permit – available at aglc.ca – due on rental day

  • For Third-Party Vendors:

    • Provide a Certificate of Insurance and, when possible, list Cranston Residents Association as an additional insured.

  • Residents: Book up to 1 year in advance (e.g., for August 12, 2026, booking opens on August 1, 2025).

  • Brookfield Communities: Book up to 11 months in advance (e.g., booking opens on September 1, 2025).

  • Non-Residents: Book up to 10 months in advance (e.g., booking opens on October 1, 2025).

  • Two weeks’ written notice is required for all rescheduling/change requests.

  • All changes (extending time, room, date, rescheduling, or cancelling) must be in writing.

  • A $20.00 Admin Fee may apply.

  • Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to rentals@cranstonra.ca.

  • Refunds:

    • 75% refund if cancelled more than three months prior to the event date.

    • 50% refund if cancelled between one and three months prior.

    • No refund if cancelled less than one month prior.

  • Tables:

    • Height: 29.25” from floor to tabletop

    • Round: 60” diameter (seats 6-8)

    • Rectangle: 72” long x 30” wide (seats 6)

    • Cocktail: 30” diameter; available in 30” or 42” height

  • Chairs:

    • Folding chairs: 15.5” from seat to floor; 34” from top of backrest to floor

    • Seat dimensions: Approximately 17.5” square; back is 19.5” wide by 15.5” high.
