Outdoor Rink and Amenities Update

Posted on Posted in Uncategorized

Good Afternoon Cranston,

The COVID-19 Outdoor Winter Recreation Guidelines were published this morning, by the Government of Alberta and AHS. The Century Hall Team has made the decision to implement the following when using the Outdoor Ice Rinks and amenities in order to follow all AHS Restrictions:

As of Monday, December 21st 2020, Hockey Rink Nets will be taken off the ice until further notice. This is to ensure there is absolutely no scrimage play taking place, as per AHS Guidelines.

Effective immediately when a Cranston Resident books two time slots in one day, the second time slot will be automatically deleted, with no notice to the resident.

There is to be no group socializing in the park. Century Hall is not meant to be a place to meet your neighbors for gathering. This is something that will be difficult to monitor so we ask that all residents please respect this.

A reminder that guests and non-residents are not permitted at this time.

All Century Hall indoor amenities, including the skate change room will remain closed regardless of weather. Benches are available outside for changing skates. Washrooms are open (masks are required).

Century Hall Fire Pits will remain closed at this time.

Failure to follow the rules will seriously impact our ability to operate. The Century Hall Team wants to thank all residents for their ongoing cooperation and support.
