Grand South Christmas Market: Cranston

The Cranston Residents Association will be hosting our Annual Grand South Christmas Market on Saturday, November 20th 2021 from 10:00AM – 3:00PM. The community of Cranston is currently 7000 homes strong and growing. With many other surrounding communities, a huge potential for shoppers attending this event has been provided to us. The 2019 Christmas Market had more than 1200 shoppers in attendance!
The Grand South Christmas Markets!
We are partnered with the neighboring communities of Auburn Bay, New Brighton, Mahogany, and Copperfield for the Grand South Christmas Markets. Market passports will be available in each participating community location and will give shoppers the chance to win a gift basket valued at $2500! Be sure to visit Cranston Century Hall first to pick up your market passport and head out for some great shopping!
Admission to the public is FREE! However, we are requesting food donations, which will be collected on behalf of the Calgary Food Bank.
*Please bring cash for purchases as some exhibitors may not have credit/debit machines. There is NO ATM on site.*

Restriction Exemption Program at the Cranston Christmas Market
As you may be aware, on the evening of September 15, 2021, the Alberta Government and Alberta Health Services announced a new optional ‘Restrictions Exemption Program’ (REP) in which participating businesses can continue to operate as usual with minimal restrictions. After extensive discussion between Senior Management and our Board of Directors, the Cranston Residents Association has decided to actively participate in this program. The health and safety of all our residents, employees and community has always been, and will continue to be, a top priority.
Therefore, shoppers twelve (12+) and over will be required to show one of the following to take part in the Cranston Christmas Market:
- Show proof of two (2) vaccinations
- A privately-paid negative PCR or rapid test no more than 72 hours before; Please note tests from AHS or Alberta Precision Laboratories are not permitted
- A medical exemption letter
Vendors and Shoppers will be required to show this information to a staff member as they enter Century Hall on the day of the event. Thank you for your understanding.
We are now full for our 2021 Christmas Market event and are unable to approve any additional exhibitors. We hope to see all other vendors next year!
